10 Years*

Reflections on a decade of experiences.

Over the weekend, I celebrated 10 years with Altria.

I find myself reflecting on this milestone this morning and what the 10 years have meant to me.

I’ve gotten married, had 2 amazing daughters, relocated 3 times, held 11 roles, and worked for 13 different managers during this time.

But what I carry with me isn’t the numerical count – but rather the lessons and experiences gained along the way.

I’ve had the chance to do work, meet people, and lead projects that I never would have imagined I’d have the opportunity to 10 years ago.

I’ve been incredibly fortunate to have such a robust and challenging 10 years’ worth of experiences.

No “whiteboard thoughts” today – just a sincere sense of gratitude and appreciation for everyone I’ve worked with and learned from over the last decade.

(* it’s 9 if you ask HR, but I count the internship onward since the experiences and learnings began then)

Thanks for spending time with me in my workshop,

Eric
