Learn Something New
Why we should be intentional about learning.
Turns out, there's a lot in this big world to learn. Facts, figures, stories, skills, abilities - the list goes on.
But - even with access to vast amounts of information increasing each day - many of us don't take the time to actually take advantage of the opportunities in front of us.
So here's the challenge: Go learn something new.
It could be a skill relevant to your current job. A skill required for your dream job. Something you need to learn to take the next step in pursuit of a hobby. The history surrounding past world events. Facts about your favorite sports team. The life story of your neighbor. Or just something you've always had an interest in that you want to dive deeper.
It doesn't matter what. It only matters that you make the effort to learn something.
And, give yourself some grace. You don't have to become a subject matter expert in a day. Simply provide yourself opportunities to make steps towards mastery - and that starts with learning something small.
